this would be nice for a stop at the university, otherwise, tacky.

if every building's form was based on the shape of the first letter of its location, architecture would be meaningless and useless. Its too literal dude. identity is icredibly important, but there is beauty in subtlety.
these fools took it to an extreme, and its completely counter intuitive and irrelevant to real life...

nice concept but not executed as successfully, a subtler incorporation of the U would make a less brass design

good concept but slightly overkill

How to link a bus stop with a site ?
How to give it a strong identity ?
What is the most representative thing of the U of U ? It’s its logo !
This logo is linked with the university, whith the students and the teachers, who are proud of it. When you think about the U of U you see its logo, and when you see this logo you think about U of U.
To link this bus stop with the university and to give it a strong identity, we used the U logo to do all kind of furniture you need. The U creates here a bean, a seat, a shelter, a lamp…
Those furnitures can also be used for all the campus, so when you are walking you always know you are in the campus of the U of U, and not in an other place !
This use gives a real strong identity to the site !
