This design has a nice aesthetic. I'm not sure if I see it as a bus stop or some sort of small pavilion. Where this really fails is in your choice of material. That timber, even if reclaimed, seems like an excessive waste of precious resources. With some modifications this could be a really nice design. 3 stars.

nice, but excessively wasteful, and gravity wouldnt allow your roof to stay there.

this is really nice and simple, i was going to do a project just like this, until this was posted, so i had to shift gears and produce a different bus stop - really thoughtful though

The principal theme was to find a solution that allows the best flexibility without to compromise the visibility of signage and to find a solution in regard of environment.
So the choice is to use timber module, because it allows various compositions, future expansion and it is interesting about the life cycle of “product”; also the next bus stop is designed in order to be self sufficient by a wind power micro system put on lighting system.
The distribution is organized by two access: the first is on perpendicular axis, it is thought for allowing to connect the shelter with back side or side walk (bikers or people coming from parking ); the other allows the usability of desabled person helped also by raise floor to go into buses. Inside the shelter a multi functions panel and seats are present, the panel can give information about bus route information, traffic information, ticketing, urban plan, wheather or events on town.
The surface treatment of walls and roof lets in the day light making parts directly illuminated and parts in the shade.
Lighting system rides around the glass strip that divide the roof from the block system of shelter and it allows to be visibility from afar also at night.
The glass strip is used to hide a micro wind power system that provides with renewable energy both lighting system and multi functions panel.
