I tried to give this five stars but they wouldn't come up - bad directions. This addresses completely my biggest barrier to riding buses - knowing if it's coming or already gone!

Kind of like "Cash Cab" for bus stops.

it eats its lover and the only mammal that can't jump is a "white man" just kidding, the answer is an elephant.

Trivia is fun! Bus stops are stinky and boring. Trivia + bus stop equals more fun, less boring, same amount of stink. I was going to say that she has a smoke...but i guess eating the lover is good too. This design concept is genious because it allows for diversity in building styles across the globe. It is an attractive addition that I assume can be retrofitted to any and all existing sites. Simple, not overbearing, educational, and informative. "Crap, I missed my bus!" 5 stars in my mind. But I have a small I don't know much. And I can't jump.

I tried to give it 5 stars and I wasn't able to do so. Sounds like a weiner to me!

Great idea and use of a captive audience... it will enhance and excite the mondaine daily commute.

umm... yeah. it won't let me rate it 5 stars... wtf? this is a smart and fun design. i would have a great time chilling at this bus stop.

It is accepting your star rating. Watch the overall rating change when you click on [hopefully] the 5th star. It works...its just not visually stimulating us with stars flying all over the place.

I love it! so many people are busy and this is a great way to get a little info, laugh, or entertainment while you wait. Very good idea.

very clever...engaging and informative, visually interesting and enviro-friendly...

It can get pretty boring while waiting at a bus stop so having the arrival and departure times available makes eveything better and more efficient. Plus the trivia option is great if you miss the bus. Nice work and great concept.

Trivial Prosthetic

Submitted by ILOVEMYMOM1 on September 23, 2009

This is not a bus stop design,
but an interest in the abundant number
of existing bus stops all over the world.
Like the bus riders, bus stops come in
all shapes and sizes with a variety
of style, taste and expression.
TRIVIAL PROSTHETIC celebrates this
diversity by creating an attachment to
existing bus stops. This prosthetic
eliminates uncertainty by informing
riders when the next bus will arrive.
Formailty is deluded as the prosthetic
creates a common moment between
riders with shared trivia questions.
