this is fabulous work great presentation, architecture, and thought; but submitted late you could have been at the top of the designs, well you are.

Focusing on the urban proximity to downtown Salt Lake City and
the environmental climate necessities facing the bus stop site
and the greater University of Utah campus, the proposed design
seeks to connect those using the stop to the greater campus
and city around them. Using the supporting armature to gesture
the the interconnectedness of the city’s streets and blocks, it
was my intention to create an atmosphere of being “already on
your way” while waiting for the bus, light rail or commuter
shuttle. The structure is composed of an insulated glazing
system with a concrete and wood envelope, which reflects the
heat and glare of the sun and keeps transit-goers safe from
wind, rain and snow.
