Neat idea to use wagon trains, very attractive! A bit difficult from only one image to see the entire plan, so I can't comment of accessibility and user safety.

Gotta give points on originality! Details need refined, but could lead to an interesting result.

"This is the Place" Bus Stop

Submitted by hopkinp on June 09, 2009

I based my design on the history of Salt lake city. I thought a covered wagon bus stop would be a fun way of showing that. The area that would normally be covered with a canopy would be built with a transparent fiberglass material or some type of flexible plastic to allow the user to see the bus coming and going, and to provide cover during storms and harsh Utah winters. The base could be built with wood or a synthetic material to immitate the covered wagon look. For shade during the summer months I put two shade trees one on each side of the wagon and the leaves will fall during the winter allowing sunshine to heat the space. A bus stop like this would not only attract attention but remind us all of the great history of Salt Lake City and Utah.
