Fitting for an air terminal not a bus stop. Not the least bit user friendly. Sorry, just my opinion!

Waiting Capsule

Submitted by dcdesign on June 26, 2009

The fundamental concept behind this design is to feature basic practicality and modern style. It’s capsule-like form works so to complement and enforce the dynamic of queuing. It’s structure also works so to maintain a relatively insulated temperature within for the convenience of waiting patrons; ideally it would dominantly feature tinted glass and a material with an aluminium-style finish (or appropriate substitutes). At the top of the design a led marquee is featured which reads the upcoming route name and a clearly-visible diagram of the bus route and timetable is featured in front of patrons waiting so that it’s not impeded and easy to see.
